MINERVA NO. 1 MAGIC… ELECTRIC BLUE MEETS ROYAL PURPLE!
Some fluorites are beautiful… and then there are absolute SHOWSTOPPERS like THIS!
Straight from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois, this extraordinary Fluorite with Calcite is everything I LOVE about classic Illinois minerals!
THE COLOR IS NEXT LEVEL!
Intense electric blues melt into deep royal purples, with flashes of vibrant violet and glowing magenta that absolutely come ALIVE under the light!
And those CRYSTALS!
Massive, razor-sharp intergrown cubes with incredible geometric architecture, beautiful stepped growth, and mesmerizing color zoning. The contrast between those saturated blue faces and the rich purple interiors is simply INSANE!
The depth, the luster, the crystal formations… every angle reveals something different. This is the kind of fluorite you can stare at for hours and still discover something new.
And let’s not forget the CALCITE, adding another layer of natural beauty to this already spectacular specimen!
Displayed on a custom handcrafted Sunnywood base, giving this Illinois masterpiece the presentation it deserves.
Pieces like this are exactly why Minerva No. 1 remains one of my all-time favorite fluorite localities. The colors, the history, the incredible crystal growth… PURE MINERAL MAGIC!
AN ABSOLUTE BLUE-PURPLE JUICE BOMB!
