UKRAINIAN HELIODOR OBSESSION… NEXT LEVEL DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THESE TWO!

A couple of my absolute FAVORITE etched Heliodors from the legendary Volodarsk-Volynskii region of Ukraine.

These two beauties are perfect examples of why Ukrainian Heliodors have become such an obsession of mine.

The incredible golden-yellow to champagne-green color, insane glassy transparency, and WILD natural etching are simply mesmerizing.

Every surface is a masterpiece of intricate dissolution patterns, razor-sharp ridges, and sculptural formations that look almost impossible for nature to create.

And the clarity? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

The way light travels through these crystals, revealing layer after layer of internal architecture, is something you really have to experience in person.

Finding specimens with this combination of color, clarity, etching, and aesthetics is what makes the hunt so addictive.
