THE HUNT GAVE ME MY PASSION BACK.

After spending 30+ years in the fashion business, I knew what it felt like to build, hustle, chase the next thing and live a business every single day.

But somewhere along the way, that fire changed.

Then I found minerals.

What started as an interest quickly became an obsession — and eventually became 22sGEMS. Suddenly I had that feeling again. The excitement. The curiosity. The adrenaline of the hunt.

Now I wake up thinking about what’s out there waiting to be discovered. A natural unheated Tanzanite with insane pleochroism. An old Brazilian etched Aquamarine. A Ukrainian Heliodor. A legendary Illinois Fluorite. A Sweet Home Rhodochrosite with that RED. A Tourmaline from a pocket you may never see again.

It’s not just about buying and selling rocks. It’s about THE HUNT.

Learning the mines. Meeting collectors and dealers. Hearing the stories. Understanding provenance. Finding that one specimen that stops you in your tracks. Holding something in your hand that took the Earth millions of years to create and realizing there will never be another one exactly like it.

After more than three decades in fashion, I never expected to find a completely new chapter that would make me feel this inspired again.

But I did.

I found my passion again in gems and minerals.

And now I get to build something I genuinely love, share the journey with other collectors, and keep hunting every single day.

I have no idea where this road ends — and that might be my favorite part.
