MINERVA BLUE IN THE SUNSHINE

MINERVA BLUE IN THE SUNSHINE.

Yeah… this one may have to get STASHED IN THE PERSONAL COLLECTION.

Took this incredible Minerva No. 1 Mine Fluorite outside into the sunshine with the palm trees in the background, and that BLUE absolutely went OFF.

Such a blue beauty — electric, saturated color wrapping around that glowing golden-yellow center, with a killer purple zone adding another layer to an already ridiculous piece.

There’s just something about seeing these old-school Illinois Fluorites in natural sunlight. The zoning, transparency and color separation completely come alive.

The more I look at this one…the harder it’s going to be to let go.

SUCH A BLUE BEAUTY. EARTH’S ART.
