FOUND ON THE HUNT — RHODOCHROSITE FIRE

FOUND ON THE HUNT — RHODOCHROSITE FIRE.

THIS is exactly why the hunt never stops.

An absolute Rhodochrosite STUNNER from the Moanda Mine, Gabon — completely covered in intensely saturated cherry-red crystals that absolutely EXPLODE in the natural light.

The color on this thing is ridiculous. Deep crimson reds, fiery flashes and sparkling crystal faces packed across the specimen from top to bottom. Every little crystal catches the sunlight and lights up.

Pieces like this are what make digging through collections, shows and dealer rooms so addictive. You never know when something special is going to appear.
