An incredible Rhodonite from Morro da Mina, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais, Brazil — displaying that intensely saturated cherry-red to hot-pink color that makes the finest Brazilian Rhodonite so addictive.
The combination of rich color, translucency, brilliant luster and that bold sculptural crystal form gives this piece serious presence. Under the light, the reds ignite and the edges light up with an almost neon intensity.
This is exactly why I love Rhodonite — when the color is this strong, it almost doesn’t look real.
