One of my absolute FAVORITE things to collect… and even more fun to hunt for.

A case loaded with etched Heliodors from Volyn, Ukraine — each one completely different, with its own wild natural etching, sculptural form, golden-yellow color and character.

There’s just something about Ukrainian Heliodor that gets me. The bizarre textures, glassy windows, deep etching and incredible formations can look almost otherworldly. Some are so heavily sculpted it’s hard to believe nature created them.

And that’s exactly what keeps the hunt going.

Finding the special ones isn’t easy… but that makes opening a case like this even more satisfying.
