What an absolutely WILD specimen.

An incredible Cyanotrichite from the Vieja Mine, Potrerillos, Chañaral, Atacama, Chile — covered in intensely saturated electric-blue, radiating fibrous crystal aggregates that almost look like tiny blue pom-poms exploding across the matrix.

The color is ridiculous. That vivid BLUE against the earthy brown matrix creates insane contrast, while the delicate, almost silky crystal growth gives this piece incredible texture and depth.

And the provenance makes it even better. This specimen comes from the Collection of R.S. DeMark (Ray DeMark) and retains both the original DeMark collection label and Weinrich Minerals, Inc. label, specimen #2062430.
