That’s what I call this one… and what a SPECIAL Herkimer it is.

An absolutely incredible double-terminated, black-stemmed Herkimer Diamond Scepter from Treasure Mountain, Little Falls, New York. The architecture on this specimen is just wild — a dark, dramatic central stem surrounded by glassy double terminations creating an almost sculptural formation.

At 8.4 cm, this is a large and exquisite example of this legendary New York material. The contrast between the smoky-black stem and brilliant crystal faces gives it an unmistakable presence.

It genuinely looks like some ancient key carved by the Earth… the Key to Treasure Mountain.
