What a beauty. This incredible Ettringite on Hematite with Brucite & Calcite from the legendary N’Chwaning II Mine is all about that electric yellow color and killer contrast.

The main Ettringite crystal rises straight off the dark, sparkling Hematite matrix with incredible presence, joined by a second crystal that gives the specimen a beautiful natural composition. That intense lemon-yellow saturation against the nearly black metallic matrix is just ridiculous.

And I love the provenance — ex. Most High Minerals / J Ras. A classic Kalahari Manganese Field specimen with color, contrast, crystal form, and pedigree all working together.
