UNEarthed: RAW BEAUTY — ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE

What an awesome exhibit and an incredible celebration of the natural art that drives all of us as mineral collectors.

The Arkenstone and Gallery of Natural Art present Unearthed: Raw Beauty at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County — a landmark exhibition bringing together more than 150 exceptional mineral specimens and presenting them exactly as they deserve to be seen: as fine art created by the Earth.

Walking through this exhibit is next level. The color, crystal formations, scale, rarity, and sheer beauty of these specimens are breathtaking. Millions of years of pressure, chemistry, heat, and chance — displayed like masterpieces in a gallery.

This is Earth’s art at its finest.

A huge thank you to Aaron, the curator, for the special tour and to @arkenstone for putting together such a fabulous exhibit. An unforgettable experience and a must-see for anyone who appreciates minerals, natural history, or simply extraordinary beauty.
