ETTRINGITE GLOW FROM SOUTH AFRICA

What a killer little burst of color. This beautiful Ettringite from the legendary N’Chwaning Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape, South Africa is absolutely loaded with bright lemon-yellow crystals.

The entire specimen has this juicy, almost electric glow, with dozens of glassy crystals packed together into a sparkling composition. Under the light, every little face catches and flashes from a different angle.

N’Chwaning has produced some of the world’s most collectible manganese-associated minerals, and vibrant Ettringite like this is such a cool example of the diversity that comes out of this iconic locality.
