BUKS CLAIM AMETHYST ON MATRIX — ABSOLUTE COLLECTOR BEAUTY

This is what I love about great Buks Claim material. An incredible 9 × 10 cm Amethyst on matrix, featuring a commanding, sharply terminated crystal rising straight out of its natural host rock.

The color is ridiculous—deep, saturated purple through the body with brighter violet flashes exploding as the light moves through the crystal. The glassy faces, strong termination, natural growth lines and incredible transparency give it serious presence from every angle.

But for me, the matrix is what takes this piece to another level. Seeing that rich purple crystal sitting exactly where nature formed it creates an entire landscape around the specimen. Even the smaller secondary Amethyst crystal tucked into the matrix adds another beautiful detail to the composition.

Millions of years of chemistry, heat, pressure and chance… preserved exactly as nature created it. Earth’s art at its finest.
