TOURMALINE CLUSTER PERFECTION
What an absolutely beautiful Indicolite Tourmaline cluster from Dara-e-Pech, Afghanistan.
This piece is loaded with crystals—deep blue-green to teal Indicolite blades shooting across the matrix in every direction, creating an incredible three-dimensional composition. The variation in color is gorgeous, with some crystals appearing almost midnight blue while others light up with those icy green-blue tones.
Then you have that contrasting lighter mineralization through the center and the pale matrix surrounding the Tourmalines, making the darker crystals absolutely POP.
I love specimens like this because there is so much going on—the more you look, the more crystals you discover. A wild little mineral landscape and a killer example from this classic Afghan locality.
