VIETNAM AQUAMARINE — PLEOCHROISM ON FULL DISPLAY

This 10.27 gram Aquamarine from Vietnam is a perfect example of why I love these crystals so much.

The pleochroism is incredible—as the crystal moves and the viewing angle changes, the color shifts from a lighter icy aqua into a much deeper, more saturated electric blue. That concentration of blue running through the crystal is absolutely mesmerizing.

Add in the beautiful elongated crystal form, transparency and glassy luster, and this little gem has WAY more presence than its 10.27 grams would suggest.

Sometimes it’s not about size—it’s about COLOR, CHARACTER and what the crystal does in the light. This one delivers.
