What an incredible natural composition. This beautiful Epidote with Prehnite from Midelt Province, Morocco has such a striking contrast between the deep olive-green Epidote and those soft, pale green Prehnite formations.
The Epidote completely dominates the upper portion with dense, highly textured crystal growth, while the rounded, almost sculptural Prehnite creates an incredible centerpiece below. The contrast in color, texture, crystal habit, and luster makes this specimen so visually interesting from every angle.
It almost looks like a miniature landscape created by nature—rugged green crystal growth surrounding these smooth, glowing Prehnite formations.
A seriously cool Moroccan combo piece and another example of why I love specimens where two minerals come together to create something completely unique.
