RAINY SUNDAY… WITH A LITTLE COLOR EXPLOSION.
Gray skies outside. Absolute FIRE inside this crystal.
Filming this beauty against a rainy Sunday backdrop, and the softer natural light brings out an entirely different personality in this incredible Tourmaline from Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
At 73.36 grams and 12 cm, this crystal puts on a serious show. With every slow rotation, the pleochroism takes over—deep raspberry reds shift into vibrant emerald greens, cool teal blues appear, and flashes of warm golden tones suddenly light up the crystal.
That’s the magic of a piece like this. You can’t understand it from one angle. You have to move it, watch the light travel through it, and let the colors reveal themselves one by one.
Exceptional size. Beautiful proportions. Incredible transparency. And a color palette that seems to change endlessly.
Rainy Sundays were made for sitting back and enjoying Earth’s art.
