Some of my absolute favorite Aquamarines from around the world came along for today’s meetings — incredible pieces from Jaqueto, Brazil • Shigar Valley, Pakistan • Medina, Brazil • Vietnam • Nigeria — each one completely different in color, crystal habit, etching and personality.

Then come those glowing yellow beauties… etched Heliodors from Ukraine — some of the most fascinating Beryls I’ve ever hunted down.

And adding the perfect splash of pink is a beautiful Morganite from Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

This upper deck represents exactly why the hunt ignites me.

Different countries. Different mines. Different pockets. Different stories. Years of searching, relationships, opportunities, timing and sometimes pure luck to bring specimens like these together in one case.

You never know where the next lead will take you or when something extraordinary will surface. That chase is what makes building a collection like this possible.

Today they’re out of the cabinets and on the road.
