There’s something special about putting a few passionate collectors in the same room. Before you know it, hours disappear as one specimen leads to another, stories get swapped, favorite localities are debated, and everyone starts saying, “Just wait until you see this one…”

Had an awesome visit with Will Jessup, founder of EarthWonders @earthwonders__ , previewing some of my collection and talking minerals, collecting, and the obsession that keeps all of us chasing Earth’s greatest masterpieces.

It was also great meeting Frank Zhu of @fzminerals and capturing the visit. Always fun connecting with people who truly appreciate what millions of years of pressure, chemistry, heat, and chance can create.

These are the moments that remind me this hobby is about more than the minerals themselves—it’s about the friendships, the shared excitement, and the endless conversations sparked by a single crystal.

Nothing beats rock talk on a Sunday… especially when nobody wants to leave.
