At first glance, this Diamond Calcite from Fujian, China is a beautiful sculptural specimen with sparkling drusy surfaces and soft natural texture. But turn on a UV light… and the entire piece transforms, erupting into an incredible neon pink fluorescence that feels almost impossible until you see it with your own eyes.

Moments like this are why I love minerals. Some of their greatest beauty isn’t visible in ordinary light—it takes the right conditions to reveal a completely different side of nature’s artistry.
