This is the kind of color that stops you in your tracks. An absolutely incredible cherry-red Rhodonite from the legendary Morro da Mina Mine, Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The saturation on this piece is just ridiculous—vivid raspberry-to-cherry red crystals packed across the specimen with beautiful translucency and serious luster. The sharp, well-developed crystal faces catch the light from every direction, making that intense red seem to glow from within.

Rhodonite is far more commonly encountered as massive material, which is exactly why high-quality crystallized specimens like this are so special. Morro da Mina has produced some of the world’s most striking examples, with its exceptional crystals setting a completely different standard for the species.

The contrast between those fiery red crystals and the natural matrix makes the entire composition pop. Add the custom display base and this one has major cabinet presence.
