An incredible Cobaltoan Calcite with Kowalzite from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, showing that beautiful transition from warm translucent tones through soft pink and into a deeply saturated rose-pink termination.

The contrast is what makes this specimen hit—the dark, textured Kowalzite crystals scattered across the glassy pink Calcite create an almost unreal composition. Up close, the crystal faces, internal color zoning, and contrasting associations just keep revealing more.

A seriously aesthetic little piece with BIG presence. These are exactly the kinds of unusual combinations that make minerals from the DRC so addictive to hunt.
