CAVE-IN-ROCK BLUE GLASS… ABSOLUTE STUNNER.
This is the kind of Illinois fluorite that stops you immediately. An incredibly glassy blue fluorite from the legendary Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
The color zoning is next level—electric blue edges melting into purple with that warm golden-yellow glow through the center. Add the stepped cubic growth, sharp geometry, and incredible translucency and this little piece absolutely lights up when backlit.
Classic Illinois fluorite with serious character. Small specimen, HUGE presence.
Fluorite with Calcite & Barite Minerva No. 1 Mine — Cave-in-Rock District, Illinois, USA
