Purple fire straight out of Cave-In-Rock…
This fluorite is absolutely electric.
A massive cubic crystal saturated in deep royal violet, glowing from within like a neon ember when backlit. The color is so intense it almost doesn’t look real—rich grape-purple saturation pouring through the crystal while intricate stepped cubic growth patterns emerge from every face.
What makes this one special is the sheer presence. Bold geometry, incredible translucency, and that unmistakable Illinois fluorite glow that has captivated collectors for generations. As the light moves through the crystal, hidden layers of cubic architecture appear and disappear, giving the specimen an almost three-dimensional depth.
This is the kind of fluorite that made the Cave-In-Rock district legendary—a specimen that doesn’t whisper for attention, it demands it.
