The hunt never gets old.
A flat full of some of my absolute favorite Streep Mine amethyst bangers from Namibia. Every crystal has its own personality—deep grape-purple saturation, razor-sharp terminations, incredible luster, and the kind of character that made the Streep Mine one of the world’s most legendary amethyst localities.
Some showcase beautiful phantoms. Others have skeletal growth, enhydros, smoky zoning, or delicate mineral associations. No two are alike, yet every one is unmistakably Streep.
This is why I never stop searching. Digging through collections, chasing old finds, and tracking down the finest examples so I can connect collectors with pieces they’ll treasure for a lifetime.
