Denton Mine perfection in its purest form…

This razor-sharp phantom fluorite cube from the legendary Denton Mine is everything that fuels my Illinois fluorite obsession. Rich, electric purple saturation radiates from the center, while the incredible phantom zoning creates a crystal-within-a-crystal effect that seems to glow from inside the specimen.

The color is outrageous. The geometry is textbook. And when backlit, the phantom becomes the star of the show—revealing the growth history of the crystal frozen in time millions of years ago.

Pieces like this remind me why Denton material remains some of the most coveted fluorite ever recovered from Southern Illinois. Sharp, translucent, intensely colored, and unmistakably collector grade.
