ABSOLUTE STUNNER. Massive pedigree.
This Denton Mine fluorite is the kind of piece that reminds me why Illinois fluorite remains king. Incredible color zoning transitions from icy blue edges into deep violet-purple cores, creating a glowing stained-glass effect that only the finest Denton material can deliver.
The sharp cubic architecture, transparency, and saturated color would be enough on their own—but the provenance takes this specimen to another level.
Formerly part of the renowned Richard Helsel Collection and later handled through Weinrich Minerals, this piece carries the history and pedigree that serious collectors value just as much as the specimen itself. Great minerals are rare. Great minerals with documented provenance are even rarer.
A true collector’s piece from one of the most iconic fluorite localities ever discovered.
